Time

More than just a personal weather station, the TE852W includes a built-in clock that can display the current time in 12 or 24-hour format. And this clock really will display the current time, since it receives radio signals from the U.S. Atomic Clock in Fort Collins, Colorado. Not only does it consistently adjusts the clock to within one second of official U.S. government, but automatically adjusts the time for Daylight Savings Time as well. What's more, this clock displays both a user-friendly sunrise and sunset calculator, and a moon phase calendar.

The TE852W allows you to monitor the temperature; humidity, wind speed and wind chill in up to three remote locations at the same time, while simultaneously providing you with the most accurate time keeping available. This system comes with a compact main display unit, as well as a Honeywell TS815 wind speed meter and a single water-resistant Honeywell TS33C remote temperature and humidity sensor that can be used both indoors and out. And not only does this system display the temperature and humidity, but provides you with a 12- to 24-hour weather forecast with easy-to-interpret graphical icons, such as clouds, rain, sunshine and more. The screen displays the current temperatures at both the main display, and the remote sensor location in either Celsius or Fahrenheit depending upon your selection. As an added convenience, this system contains a programmable ice warning alarm for taking precautions against the frost, a programmable high and low temperature alarm, high wind speed and gust alarms, and comfort level indicators. Users will also delight in this system's wide outdoor temperature and humidity range, which can range from -38 to 158 degrees F and 30- to 80-percent humidity when powered by lithium batteries, making it suitable for virtually any application. And for those who like to keep track of the highs and lows, the TE852W has a memory that stores minimum and maximum temperature and humidity for both the main display and remote sensor locations. This unit's memory also provides you with a 24-hour barometric pressure history chart, and a user-defined altitude adjustment.

As convenient as it is accurate the display unit can be mounted on the wall so you always know right where to look, or set on your desktop and go. The TE852W utilizes easy-to-read digits on a bright, blue backlit LCD display that allows you to read its information at a glance day or night. With effective transmission ranges of up to 100 feet for the wind sensor and 328 feet temperature/humidity sensor, you can install these remote sensors virtually anywhere in or near the house. If you need to know the temperature in multiple locations, you can purchase up to two more remote sensors and use them all with the same main display unit. The main unit even includes a remote channel auto- scan function so you don't have to cycle through multiple sensors manually. The main display runs on two AA batteries while the remote sensors require four AA batteries (not included). Units are backed by a manufacturer's one-year warranty. No AC Adapter Required.

The Honeywell TE852W is a Weather Forecaster with Wind Speed Indicator. The main unit displays your local weather forecast for the upcoming 12 to 24 hours with the Graphical Weather Forecasting icons (cloudy, rainy, sunny, etc.) at the top of the display screen and shows the Wind Speed and Wind Chill from the (TS815), included, Wind Speed meter that will transmit up to 100'. Wind speed and gust alarms can be user set. The last 24 hours of barometric pressure is shown in an easy to read history chart. See the indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity at a glance in either Celsius or Fahrenheit. The outdoor temperature and humidity are transmitted from a small sensor (TSC33C), included, that can be located up to 328 feet from the main unit. The Honewell TE852ELW supports up to 3 remote sensors and with an auto scan feature to display the temeperature at each sensor automaticly. Users will also delight in the unit's wide outdoor temperature range--which varies from -38 to 158 degrees F when powered by lithium batteries to -4 to 158 degrees F on alkaline batteries Get the most accurate time from the Atomic Clock accurate to within one second of official U.S. government time and features dual alarm with snooze. A built in ice warning can be set to wake you early because of freezing temperatures.
